Assoc. Prof. BERCESTE GÜLER AYYILDIZ

She graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Dentistry in 2010, ranking third in college. She began working in Gazi University Faculty of Dentistry Department of Periodontology as a research assistant in 2010. She completed her PhD Degree in Periodontology Program at Gazi University Health Sciences Institute in 2015. Dr. Guler Ayyıldız holds an Assistant Professor position at Kütahya Health Sciences University Faculty of Dentistry Department of Periodontology since 2015, where she continues to teach. She earned her Associate Professorship title from the Inter-University Council of Turkey in 2021. She also worked as the Chief of Stuff at the Faculty of Dentistry, Oral-Dental Health Practice and Research Center, at between the May 2016 and November 2023. She completed postdoctoral research graduate at University of Illinos Chicago, College of  Dentistry, Department of Periodontics with mentorship of Prof. Tolga Fikret Tözüm at 2024. Her research focuses on the dental implant surface, peri-implantitis, implant surface chemistry, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy analysis and oral soft tissue operations. Her papers were published in SCI-E journals as Clinical Implant Dentistry and Related Research, Journal of Periodontology (Wiley), Materials (MDPI), Journal of Stomatology Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (Elsevier), Photobiomodulation, Photomedicine, and Laser Surgery (Mary Ann Liebert Inc.).
