Abstract

Background. Prosthetic valve thrombosis (PVT) is serious complication of valvular replacement surgery, and increased levels of anticardiolipin antibodies (aCL) are associated with thrombosis. The aim of this study was to evaluate the role of aCL in the development of PVT.
