Özet

First, walnut husk extract (WHE) was obtained, and then this juglone-containing extract was used in the synthesis of Pb(Jug)2 and Cu(Jug)2 complexes. FTIR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry were used for the characterization of the WHE and the complexes. Three new photodiodes (PDs) were fabricated. The WHE and the solutions of the metal juglonate complexes were used for the interface layers of the PDs. It was determined that Au/Pb(Jug)2/p-Si was more ideal compared to the other two PDs in the dark, and Au/Cu(Jug)2/p-Si was more ideal compared to the other two PDs, provided that the illumination intensity was the same. Besides, it was determined that at the studied illumination intensities Au/Cu(Jug)2/p-Si had higher responsivity (Rλ), specific detectivity (D∗) and external quantum efficiency (ηeq) values than the other two PDs, and Au/WHE/p-Si had higher noise-equivalent power (Pne) values compared to the other two PDs.
