Findings: Knowledge and awareness of pelvic floor muscles and exercises are low in women aged over 60. Knowledge and awareness of pelvic floor muscles were significantly lower in women with urinary incontinence. Message: Clinicians should keep in mind that older women have low levels of awareness and knowledge on pelvic floor functions and dysfunctions but are eager to receive information and perform pelvic floor muscle exercises.
